Default .gitignore

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

When creating a new repository we usually say yes to the "create .gitignore" section since it gives us a good starting point. But we want to include more files in the default gitignore, that come up often (like .env files). Is there a way to do that or are we stuck with the default?
