How do I use the AWS CodeDeploy add on to push builds to multiple regions?

Currently, my AWS CodeDeploy add on is configured to deploy to (AWS) us-east-1. In the Settings for my repo, under CodeDeploy, is it possible to deploy to multiple regions?

The AWS CodeDeploy add-on currently only supports deploying to one location (in one region).

If you have a specific need, you can make a feature request here and we will take it into consideration.

Note that in order to deploy to multiple regions you must define your application once in each region (if you haven't already). See How do I deploy an AWS CodeDeploy application to multiple regions? in the AWS CodeDeploy FAQ for more information.

One workaround in the meantime is to have multiple clones of your repo and configure each to deploy to a different region.

Thanks a lot Tom, I see that, right now its possible. We will probably not attempt the hacky way.

Relatedly, would tools like Ansible or Chef be a direction worth taking? Wherein, we have one repo with the app codebase, that needs to be pushed out to instances on AWS (and in the future, on Azure/GCE) on commits.
