Create branch url parameters

For the migration to the cloud we would like the possibility to specify some create branch defaults from the url. The following is available:

https://bitbucket.org/branch/create?issueKey=KEY-1234&issueType=custom&issueSummary=this+is+a+test+issue

But for us it would be nice to be able to specify:

• repository 
• from branch

This would allow us to create a url like:

https://bitbucket.org/branch/create?issueKey=KEY-1234&issueType=custom&issueSummary=this+is+a+test+issue&repository=myrepo&branchFrom=develop

This is possible in the server version but I don't seem to find how or if this is possible with Bitbucket cloud.

Any ideas?

Hi Bert,

The URL you posted here is used when creating a branch from a Jira issue. Are you looking to set up a default repository and a default 'from branch' when creating a branch from Jira?

If so, I'm afraid that this is not possible at the moment without an add-on. I see that the following add-on allows you to configure a default repository and branch per Jira project:

Hi Theodora, 

thanks for your answer. I just wanted to know what was possible. In Bitbucket Server it's no issue, so I was hoping this would be there in Bitbucket Cloud. We will see if we will be using a plugin or do something on our own with Forge.
