We have a user with a two letter first name, for example let's say "Jo Smith".
Previously we could tag this user by typing part of the user's username [Let's say it was josmith234]. Typing J-O-S, shows the list of users with the user I want to tag.
Now, we are unable to do that, and don't have a way of listing the user to tag at all.
Hello Jeremy,
Thank you for providing the information which compares to how it was functioning prior to how it’s functioning now. Something I would like to confirm first would be permissions for the user. We would like to confirm if the user still has permissions to the repo/PR and is available to see the repo/PR themselves. If this is not the case and they no longer have permissions then they won’t be able to be @mentioned.
Please let us know the results of this check.
Regards,
Stephen Sifers
Hey Stephen,
The user does have access to the project, but this feature recently began working again.
Was a release pushed that addressed an issue in this area?

Hello Jeremy,
We’re not aware of any changes that have been pushed which may have impacted this.
There is a place you can check to see items recently closed or resolved within Bitbucket cloud. You may find this resource at Bitbucket Cloud issues | Closed or Resolved.
I hope this is helpful and very glad to hear the tagging of users started working again as expected.
Regards,
Stephen Sifers
