Unable to connect bitbucket.org

Hi,

I’d like to report an issue where I’m unable to access bitbucket.org, while other Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence remain accessible.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried:

  • Cleared browser cache and cookies

  • Turned off and reset my router

  • Tried multiple browsers

  • Tested on my phone using mobile data only (to rule out network-specific issues)

Despite these efforts, I’m still experiencing the same issue even when using a mobile data connection.

For context, I was able to access Bitbucket without any issues last week. However, the problem started occurring this Monday.

Hi @Gammalil Basallo 

By any chance are you connecting from the Philippines? We have received reports of DNS issues at the moment with the Globe ISP, but we are not sure if others are affected.

If you are/aren't - as a first step regardless I would suggest updating your DNS to use googles Public DNS and let me know if you are able to connect:

  • Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
  • Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

Hi @Ben ,

Thanks for the clarification, I used Warp to access Bitbucket for now which I think work similar to google DNS
