"Resource Not Found" when creating a branch

Whenever I create a branch in BitBucket - initiated via Jira Cloud - the branch is created but I always receive a "Resource Not Found" error. Our process uses GitFlow and branch is created on a separate branch (in the latest case "2025-Sprint-1") instead of from our main branch (called "development").

The branch is created even with the error reported.

I believe there's an existing bug report regarding this issue, where the branch creation from Jira intermittently fails with a resource not found error. This is currently being tracked in our bug report. I highly recommend that you vote and watch the report to stay updated on the progress of the fix.

The workaround is to refresh the page, as the page should then load accordingly.
