API Tokens are spontaneously deleted

Ezequiel Aguilera March 25, 2022

I was running actions that consume the Confluence API and the tokens were deleted several times.

I use this wrapper https://pypi.org/project/md2cf/ of Confluence API.

Hi @Ezequiel Aguilera is this for Confluence Cloud, or Confluence Server/DC?

If cloud, you're creating them against your ID like this: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-api-tokens-for-your-atlassian-account/ . And AFAIK, there isn't a way to auto expire or delete them programmatically (via API).

If on server/DC, you're creating them at the product/app level like this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/using-personal-access-tokens-1026032365.html. And there is an option to have them auto expire after a certain period of time.

Can you confirm which one you're using?
