Access to project space in confluence

Dear all , 

I'm the site admin 

I'm trying to access one of the project space but its denying access and guiding me to request access from previous admin  , then i  added myself to the particular project  user group and also added my self by going to  project space permission  but still not able to access  the project space

Check the Recover Space Permissions section of this article.  It's pretty easy to give yourself access if you are a Confluence admin.
