Activity stream widget doesn't allow link selection, anyone know why?

Okay - perhaps a bit of a cryptic question.  I have set up a status page in Confluence, adding a JIRA activity widget, which as I would expect, list who is doing what (based on the filter I applied)... but, when I select the user's name, to review their profile, I receive "

We can't find that page. This could be because:

  • The page doesn't exist.
  • The page exists, but you don't have view permission for that space."

If I select a link to the JIRA activity mentioned in the widget, I get exactly the same message.

Note that the link to JIRA for whatever reason, has a confluence 'browse' link followed by the JIRA key in the URL.. not what I would expect.

This occurs whether I'm logged in as a 'user' or as the admin.  Very... puzzling.

Hey Chris,

Sounds like a bug! (or maybe misconfiguration, but likely bug!)

I'm assuming you're on Confluence Server - what version are you running? Also can you provide a screenshot or the full URL (you can **** your subdomain/domain) that the activity stream seems to be generating?

Thanks,
Daniel
