Add button that creates Blog with with the pageID of the current page as a label?

We are using the Blog feature to facilitate discussions around topics on individual pages.  In order to make sure that only entries that apply are displayed on the page we are using the pageID as a label for the Blog entry and then using the Blog Posts macro and setting Restrict to these Labels to that page's pageID.  

It would be helpful when someone initiated a blog post those pages if that pageID could automatically be inserted as a label in the Blog post.  It is easy to forget to do this and then the post doesn't appear on the page.

If there is a better way to handle this whole process I am open to suggestions, but this is the best we have so far.

The Blog is not really the right place to discuss an individual page content - a blog is a time line of miscellaneous information that is "announced" to all the Users of the Space - a "news" post for example in a date sequence that doesn't need to be related to any particular page .. a just a "random note to all".  As such if you Blogged something about a particular page which has View Restrictions, it would make no sense at all to a non-viewer!

However at the bottom of each page is the Comment facility - this is exactly related to, and shown on, THAT page, hence only Viewers of that page know about it.  The others can reply to that as a thread, or start a new thread.

The new feature is <<In-line Comments>> where the comment is directly linked to specific selection of text on the page.  In normal page view mode (not edit), highlight a word or line of text and wait a second - a little comment thought box appears and if you click that you can enter a comment about that text - it then allows you to discuss that and ultimately mark it as resolved.

These are good points.  There a couple of disadvantages from our standpoint. 

1) New topics don't have subject lines (though we could fake that with formatting, somewhat)

2) New topics would be at the bottom of the page.

Anyway, for simplicity, it might just be worth using what is easily available.  Thanks also for pointing out the inline comments feature as I was unaware of that feature.
