Are you saying you already downloaded the installer from here, https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/install-atlassian-companion-992678880.html , and you can't get it to run / work?
Are you able to install other programs downloaded from the internet? or is this a limitation on your work machine? If you cannot install anything from the internet, like another browser, Notepad++, etc I think you will need to ask for this permission to be temporarily elevated on your computer. Is there anyone in your organization you can ask for help with this?

I have the same problem, it seems to be something wrong with the download-page. If I choose to download either for mac or windows I get "This site can't be reached". Have tried with different browsers, devices with no other result.

Hi @Claudio Sempere , @Jansson Daniel , I have heard from the service desk that it is 'priority for today' to fix the documentation page. The agent passed me the installer in the ticket but I don't manage to upload the files here because they are too big.
So, if you cannot wait, please open a ticket, like I did, here - https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ . I chose, 'Technical issues and bugs' for Data Center and just said that the download / install of the Atlassian Companion isn't working. I put the Level 2 priority and they have replied pretty quickly.
