I've been in talks with Atlassian Technical Support around monitoring for Synchrony for Confluence DC environment. From those talks, it is not possible to properly monitor synchrony using automated monitoring without compromising Confluence security by disabling the 'secure administrator access', which Atlassian do not recommend.
I have requested Atlassian to raised a suggestion (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-61476), to allow Confluence DC Administrators, to enable automated monitoring of synchrony without compromising the security of the environment and to enable a monitoring solution that Atlassian can recommend.
Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, how did you resolve the issue without compromising the security of Confluence?
