Can Confluence be used as CMDB?

Hi Atlassian Community,

 

So we're having a project for CMDB in Jira. I know there are tools in the Marketplace, but we're also looking for other possible ways that we can do with CMDB and Jira without having any costs or having the least cost for this project.

 

So I have found other articles relating to Jira being used as CMDB. I want to know if confluence can be used as well for this practice. Can you share your thoughts?
