×Hi,
I’ve been testing the Simple Table app for Confluence over the past few days, and it’s been really helpful for organizing our project data. One thing I’d like to know is whether it’s possible to export a table back to Microsoft Excel once I’ve added several formulas inside Simple Table.
Is this currently supported, or is it something planned for the roadmap?
Thanks!
Ingrid Solheim
Hi @Ingrid Solheim Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Yes, you can easily download the table into CSV or XLSX format. You only need to turn on the these radio buttons.
Hi @Vikrant Yadav,
This is really helpful. Thanks a lot for taking the time to show the exact steps with a screenshot. That makes it much clearer how to enable the download options inside Simple Table.

Hi @Vikrant Yadav This is super clear — thanks a lot for adding the screenshot. It really helped me understand how to enable the export options in Simple Table, and I just tested it successfully on my side.
Much appreciated!

Hi @Ingrid Solheim ,
Welcome to Atlassian community.
That app is from a marketplace vendor, from the app documentation the export feature is present: https://simpleasyty.com/docs/download-csv-excel/
I encourage you to contact the vendor directly, you can found how to contact here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1238229/simple-table-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=support
Kind regards

Thanks a lot for sharing those links 🙏 @Matteo Vecchiato — that’s exactly right.
Simple Table already supports exporting tables back to CSV/Excel, even when formulas are applied. You can find the step-by-step instructions in the documentation link Matteo mentioned.
If anything doesn’t work as expected during export, feel free to reach out through our support channel on the Marketplace — we’re happy to help @Ingrid Solheim

Hi @Matteo Vecchiato Thanks a lot for pointing me to the documentation link. That was very helpful. I was able to confirm that export to CSV/Excel is indeed supported in Simple Table.
Much appreciated!
