Can we create JIRA Xray Test Case with Test Step using Rest API

Hello Team,

I'm able to create a Jira Xray Test and add a summary, description, and other fields using the '/rest/api/3/issue' API but I'm having trouble adding test steps using the REST API.

I've tried the following endpoints:

• /rest/api/3/issue

• /rest/raven/2.0/api/test

• /rest/raven/1.0/api/test

Could someone please provide guidance on the correct API endpoint and method for adding test steps to an Xray Test?

Hey @Dnyaneshwar Shejul ,

Here's official documentation from Xray about their APIs: REST API, however, I don't think they mention exactly how test steps are added. You'll probably have to dive into GraphQL a bit more to find a solution.

Although I'd probably recommend reaching out to Xray official support team via their channels, as they can probably assist you better based on your requirement.
