Cloud development space to test macro customization?

Hello,

For various reasons, I cannot get access to an instance of Confluence, but am tasked with making a custom macro (editing status macro to fit our needs).

Is there a cloud space to test the marco script for confluence macros?

You can get a Cloud development environment here: go.atlassian.com/cloud-dev, but unfortunately user macros are restricted functions in Confluence Cloud: they are not available.

Instead, you could run a local Confluence Server development environment using the Atlassian plugin SDK. Once you have the SDK installed, you can use the atlas-run-standalone command to run a local Confluence for testing your macro.
