We have a form where the user needs to add multiple links - copy and pasted into a field - we have gone with WYSIWYG field so they appear as clickable links in Card + Tableviews - however the links all open in the same page and not a new tab - as they need to be viewed as part of the original page is there any way to get them to open by default in another tab , i.e. add "target=_blank".
Weirdly I have tried changing the links to "Open in new window" in the edit link option in the WYSIWYG field before submitting the form but in the table/card view the link has defaulted back to "target=_top"
(The "Link" field has this functionality but we need a field that accepts 4/5 links without adding 4/5 fields to the form)

Yes, you are right, the links get sanitized and for some reason the _top as the target gets added...
We will review that... as having the _top as a target seems to be more correct

Hey Alex,
Yeah I know people should just be able to right click and select "open in new window" instead, but human nature to just click - it's just that precisely it makes more sense for the links to open in a new window for our purposes as you need to stay in the table view - the links are just ancillary information.
The link field works this way , we just can be adding 5 additional link fields as it isn't practical in table view etc
