Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×Hi Community.
We currently have our Confluence full and partial (attachments - no attachments) backups running on a regular automated schedule. It works perfectly. My dilemma is that when we do a full backup, the file is so large that it takes at least an hour to download from cloud to my laptop then 2-3 hours to upload from my laptop to Google Drive.
Does anyone know a tool or process that would do this automatically? I worked with Atlassian Support to see if we can use API to download the backup file only to find that the API has been deprecated.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Gail,
Seems that this feature has been requested by the community for a long time.
You can vote on the issue here [CLOUD-6498] Automatic Backup generation in Backup Manager.
Hopefully Atlassian considering including it in their Cloud roadmap.
Cheers,
Von
