When I try to upload a file to Confluence i get the following error.

I tried multiple file types (pdf, png). We are using the Atlassian cloud service. There are no plugins installed and the maximum file size is configured to 100MB.
Any suggestions what might help to fix this? thank you for your efforts in advance.
