I'm attempting to use Confluence whiteboard Kanban template and use the "Create Action" feature. As I'm going through the options to set up, I noticed that in the available fields, status is not a field that is available.
Is that by design? Seems odd that I'm not able to see the field.
The absence of a status is due to the fact that when you create a ticket, it automatically adopts the default status selected during for creation phase. This default status typically corresponds to options such as "backlog," "To Do," or "open," depending on the specific project in which the ticket is created.
Even when you create a brand new ticket directly in Jira environment, the option to select the Status in creation is not available.
You don't need more tools. You need tools that actually work together – the way humans do. See how Loom + Confluence help teams collaborate with more context, more connection, and fewer calendar invites. 💪
