We chose Confluence as the documentation tool for our project. And Jira for management. The last time we worked on the project was last year. And now I can't find a place for the project. Does anyone know why Confluence removes spaces. And is there a way to recover.
Confluence doesn't remove spaces. Only admins can do that. Are you sure there every was a space associated with the project? Confluence doesn't automatically create a space for a Jira project.
Confluence only deletes spaces when a human (administrator) tells it to. Either by removing a user (it will remove their personal space when you do that), or by going to the admin section and clicking "delete".
To recover it, you will need to look for the backup that you took before your admin deleted the space.
