Confluence page crashing on Google Chrome

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Confluence pages are freezing on Google Chrome latest version: 137.0.7151.68 (Official Build) (64-bit) - Ubuntu 22.04
It loads the page, but keeps trying to load or finish loading something else. You can't click on anything and eventually the page crashes.
Tried:
- Cleaned caches
- Tried in Incognito (same behaviour), this rules out extensions
- Works fine on Firefox
- In the DevTools Network tab there a many resources in Pending state, some with 409 (Conflict)
- Was working fine yesterday (up until 5pm PST).
