How do I give access of a specific confluence page access to someone who is not a member of your space. You just want to give specific page access but not the entire space.
my page sharing looks like this
Hi @Sheen Kaul
Unfortunately, in Confluence you can’t give access to a single page if the person doesn’t already have at least view access to the Space. Page restrictions only work within the Space: you can restrict a page so only certain people/groups inside the Space can view or edit it, but you cannot bypass Space-level permissions.
So if you want to share just one page with someone who is not a member of the Space, you have two main options:
Grant them minimal access to the Space (e.g., view-only) and then use page restrictions to limit their access so they can only see that specific page.
Export the page (to PDF or Word) or use the “Share” option to send them a copy if you don’t want them to have access inside Confluence.
Atlassian designed permissions this way for security reasons: the Space controls always come first, and page restrictions only narrow down access further.
