Content by Label Macro disappears when publish

Hi,

When I create a content by label macro, set it up, preview it on the draft everything looks ok. When I publish it, it doesn't display on the page and then when I go to edit it again, it isn't even there. I was wondering if someone else has this issue. 

How do I get around this?? It isn't on every page, just random ones and they are all set up the same way.
