Is it possible to create different collections of pages for generating PDF. The collections must make it possible to reuse pages between different PDF documents.
The use case is that we have different PDF documents containing some of the same pages.
What we want to archive is make it possible to create different collections like shown below:
Info about product 1
- About the company
- Product 1 details
- Company history
Info about product 2
- About the company (same page a in product 1)
- Product 2 details
- Company history (same page a in product 1)
We are using Scroll PDF for making it easy to include our company document template (frontpage, header, footer Etc.), we need that feature going forward!
Thanks very much in advance 🙏
Hey @Peter Nørregaard Rasmussen
I'm happy you are already familiar with PDF Exporter from us. 😄 Have you had a chance to look at Scroll Documents as a possible solution? It should be the perfect companion for your document management needs. It allows you to define "documents" in Confluence, consisting of a whole space, a page tree, or selected pages, just as necessary. Then you have authoring functions such as versioning, tracking of changes, and publishing features available to you. It also enables you to repurpose content in documents. I don't know how you're managing your content in Confluence right now, so I will not dive into a possible implementation. Still, I have different approaches in mind for how this could be set up, not only to enable you to have your exports and documents neat but also to have some long-lasting structure in your Confluence.
And, of course, because Scroll PDF Exporter is a part of the Scroll solutions, it's integrating well with Scroll Documents, so you can easily export these documents, too. 😄
Please don't hesitate to ping me or contact us in our support if you have additional questions! :)
Best, Max
