Date Picker not saving date in Confluence Template

Jackie Paul October 29, 2021

Added <input="date"> as custom html in a confluence template.  Date picker is available, when trying to use the template.  I can select a date.  But upon publishing the now saved form, the date disappears.

Hi

Even if you have added an HTML to your page and have something like a date picker field rendered on page view you still need some server code to get it to react and save your "date" (and client side code to "glue" things together)

Without it - it is just an HTML code

Hi @Jackie Paul

Welcome to community!

From here I see you are using Cloud. Cloud natively has restrictions around HTML due to security. Is your instance using a plugin-in/app that allows more HTML functionality? If so which one? If not you maybe hitting some of the limits of Cloud around HTML.

Best,

Clark
