When attempting to add the decision report macro I get the following error.
Error rendering macro 'decisionreport' : Could not parse cql : null and hasDecision="true" order by title
However, if a use a filter to target things created within the past week it works or if I target an single page.
Why is this the case? What is wrong with the macro?
Hi @Jeff Edwards @David.Taylor and @Liam Green,
Thank you for all your help on this case. I see the ticket that Jeff raised with Atlassian Support resulted in the following bug report:
In the meantime, you will need to add a filter to the macro.
If anyone counters this same bug, please click "This affects my team" on the bug ticket above to add your report.
Thanks again, and take care!

I have the samen thing: i can get the decision report to show the decisions of the subpages, but not the decisions that are on the page the decision report is in. I've added filters "current content" and "subpages" and "current space"

This is definitely still an issue, I'm having the same symptoms as those above.

Are you still having an issue with this? Have you restarted your machine, tried a different browser and tried a different machine?
Thanks,
Liam

Hello Liam,
Yes, this is still an issue. Using Chrome on a Windows PC.

I had the same issue - the macro doesn't work until a filter is applied.
For example I can't have a report of all decisions in the current space (the default filter) unless I apply a filter (e.g. with parent Current Page).
Default report filter
Gives this error

I was able to replicate this, and I think I have solved it
If you click on the pencil to edit the decision report, then click on the preview button
That then showed me the decision.
I also click on the 'show' button next to options, and clicked 'add a filter' but didn't add one.
Does the above work for you?
Thanks,
Liam

Hello Liam,
This didn't work and I've tried numerous combinations of adding filters vs. not. This macro simply doesn't work. As stated the only way I can get a decision to show is if I use the filter created last week.

Hi @Jeff Edwards and @David.Taylor
I'd say in this case the best thing to do would be to log a support issue with Atlassian, as it seems like either a bug or an issue with your instances.
You can contact them at support.atlassian.com
