Hello Community,
is there a way to detect or recognize the export of a page or a space, so that an automation can be built on that trigger?
As far as I know, there is no designed trigger in the automation.
I was hoping, that there is a trigger to an API endpoint, that can be handled by a 3rd application, like an automation platform.
Since Atlassian designed the permisssion to export is coupled to the permission to view a page, the export can't be restricted for itself.
The idea behind that is, to be able to monitor and react on export, given that there are confidential pages in a site, that needs higher attention and security for data loss.
Atlassian Guard Premium gives a bit more options for that purpose, however this plan is not sufficient for every company.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
Best regards, Alex
Hi @Alex Ziegltrum ,
Tricky one - I think we researched this a while back but didn't find any decent solution until they announced Guard Premium. Might be worth checking out Marketplace for any apps related to that.
I know there's an open suggestion for audits on page exports CONFCLOUD-62555: Audit the page export so you could hook up to that probably and filter out export activities, but again, that's only once it's rolled out.
Hopefully someone had found some decent workaround for it.
Cheers,
Tobi
