I am trying to paste a large amount of text into a table, but some of it is being interpreted as code and is being autoformatted as code. It is not code and I do not want the autoformatting in this case.
If I put a ' in front of the "code" it will stop autoformatting, but it is far too many lines for that to be a reasonable solution (and also, the ' remains visible which is not acceptable in this case). This is only a recent problem, as I was able to paste very similar text last May without issues.
I see old answers about using the {noformat} macro, but that macro no longer exists.
What is the new way to prevent or to undo autoformatting of text?

@Katie Elliott You can use the "Clear formatting" button in the editor or you can turn off auto-formatting in the editor via your settings.
Ah, I finally found the "Clear formatting" menu item (the 3 dots next to Bold and Italics)
