Duplicate Notifications when using feature "convert to blog"

Hi there,

I recently noticed that confluence sends out duplicate notifications to watchers when one of my colleagues uses the feature "convert to blog" to post a blogpost.

Has anyone else experienced this as well and is there a way to avoid the double notification?
