Email notification options

Is it possible to turn email notifications on for e.g. only mentions?

Currently it seems that i can only disable all or nothing.

I know i could manually go through all pages and set my watching off, but as an admin id need to do this for all users who complain about email spam.

Is there a simple user/admin friendly solution that allows me to select what causes email notifications to be sent or a setting a normal user can use to disable email notifications?

• Mention notifications - A notification is sent to the people you mention the first time you mention them, but not for subsequent mentions. If you need to catch someone's attention, and you've already mentioned them, try sharing the page with them instead.

@Srinatha T That is not what I asked. Im well aware how mentions work. I need to disable all other email notifications except ones that originate from mentions.

Is there an option which allows me to choose which actions cause emails to be sent?
