Is there any way to export a Confluence article to a Google Doc?

Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, you cannot export a Confluence page to a Google Doc — not directly atleast. You can only export it in the following formats:

• Microsoft Word
• HTML
• PDF
• XML

As a workaround, you might choose to export your Confluence article as a Word document and then import that file from your computer into Google Drive. From there, you can open the file as a Google Doc.

Thanks, Hamza. I can only see how to export to PDF and Word. Could you tell me how to export to HTML please?

To export pages to HTML, XML, or PDF

1. Select Space Settings from the sidebar.
2. Select Export space from the Manage space card.
3. Select HTML, XML, or PDF, then select Next
4. Select either a normal or custom export for HTML or PDF, or a Full or Custom XML export:
   • Normal Export (HTML and PDF) – to produce an HTML file containing all the pages that you have permission to view.
   • Full Export (XML) – to produce an XML file containing all the pages in the space, including those that you don't have permission to view.
   • Custom Export – if you want to export selected pages only, or if you want to exclude comments from the export.
5. Select Export
