We're using the confluence cloud as public documentation. "Anonymous" can see stuff.
Someone have an idea how we can hide some header Buttons, since we don't need them if not logged in? Especialley the very big "Create" Button makes no sense, since anonymous can't create sites.
There are themes for Confluence that might help.
Some can be applied directly over a Confluence space:
- Spacecraft for Confluence
(Free - I'm using this for my private project)
Some can create a bona fide doc center independent of Confluence with extra features
- Scroll Viewport by K15t
(using this for our Doc site at Emplifi)
All of those allow you to hide Confluence page furniture and add custom links and modals.
Unfortunately, there is no way to get rid of these elements as that is simply not the use case Confluence was designed for. This is also the exact reason my team has created our app Scroll Viewport for Confluence with which you can create a proper help center from your Confluence content that also e.g. has a proper custom domain and is SEO optimized.
If you want to check out some example help centers built using Scroll Viewport, you can look here: https://help.k15t.com/scroll/example-help-centers
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Sven

Same for other Buttons. They can be hidden globally, since we don't use these features.
