Heading elements with nested span elements

Robert_Rosskopf February 14, 2025

Hello everybody,

since the recent (major) update the headings (h1, h2 aso) contain additional span elements with inline style configurations. Looks like this (omitting some ids):

<h2>
<span style="font-size: 20.0px; color:var(--ds-text,#333333);">Chapter 2</span>
</h2>

Therefore all our custom css is no longer applicable, neither is it for visual impaired users and their browser css adapted to their personal needs.

Why is this so and how do we get rid of this?

Thanks in advance

Hi Robert,

Since no one has responded yet, it would probably be good that you open a Support ticket with Atlassian.
