How can I access an anchored position in my page from outside?

Robert E_ Schneider August 28, 2019 edited

I have put the anchor "ClientSoftwareDownload" somewhere on my Confluence page and I would like to jump directly to this position from somewhere outside of Confluence.

I tried these:

  1. https://toolmaker.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOKU/pages/533921857/#ClientSoftwareDownload
  2. https://toolmaker.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOKU/pages/533921857#ClientSoftwareDownload
  3. https://toolmaker.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOKU/pages/533921857/dataxpress#ClientSoftwareDownload

But all of them take me to the top of the page, not to the anchored position.

How can I make the system go directly to my anchor?

Could it be a problem that my anchor is placed inside of a table cell?

Hi @Robert E_ Schneider - Here's the correct way based on how you configured your anchor macro:

https://toolmaker.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOKU/pages/533921857/dataxpress#dataxpress-ClientSoftwareDownload

I found this out by inspecting the html that Confluence emits for the page:
