How can I delete spaces from the trash

Gabriela Landó January 26, 2024

I am migrating to cloud, it's the 2nd migration and I've delete all spaces from the first one.

Now the CCMA is requesting me to delete the spaces also from the trash, but I can't find this option.

Could you help me with this?

Thank you!

Gabriela

Sure @Gabriela Landó

  1. Go to the Home of your spaces and with the filters click on "Trashed":Screenshot 2024-01-26 at 14.21.48.png

2. Click on the three dots of the space you want to delete and select "Delete permanently"

3. You will be prompted if you are sure to delete, click on "Delete this space"Screenshot 2024-01-26 at 14.23.25.png

Hi @Gabriela Landó

Spaces should be deleted right away. See here: Delete a Space | Confluence Data Center and Server 8.7 | Atlassian Documentation

Are you talking about pages? You should be able to clear the trash per space via the UI. Otherwise have a look at this: How to Purge All (remove all trash in a space) using REST API | Confluence | Atlassian Documentation

With @Nikola Perisic i see that I probably missunderstood your questions. So for space deletion in Cloud, his answer is the one. For server you can check mine ;)
