I create any diagram and the size seems arbitrarily set.
Is there a way to resize it?
I create a small diagram, it gets some size. I cant find an apparent way to simply make it fit to the page width/column width/table cell width that I give it to utilize: I tried making more space on the page, hoping that will make the diagram fill out and expand. But it just enlarges the "macro-box/placeholder"! The diagram itself is never enlarged - no matter how much space I give the placeholder! (Its like an old movie with black area on the sides.)
Small diagram work ok:ish. Larger diagrams are basically unreadable, using this plugin.
There has got to be a solution?

PS
Setting to "original size" is not ok. That would mean I have to enter some width, go back out to see if it fits, go back into editor and edit the size, go back out and re-check ... repeat until it fits ok.... I tried this way, it takes so much time it is absurd. I could potentially do this for some important diagram, but other users will never be able to cope with this as a workaround.
Hi @mawi
Not sure if you were able to find a definitive fix for this one yet.
However, I'd like to mention that our app Markdown, HTML, PlantUML, LaTeX, Diagrams, Open API, Mermaid can assist you with it.
It provides responsive diagrams, including but not limited to PlantUML, that will resize according to the Confluence macro container size.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to know more.
Hi @mawi
With third party applications you may get someone familiar with it. However there are many apps int he marketplace. I know i have never heard of the mxgraph app.
If you haven't already I would recommend reaching out to the app developer. If you are not the Atlassian Admin at your org you can reach out to them and they can inform you of or get you in contact with the developer
Best,
Clark
