Hi!!
I am very interested in performing a statistical analysis of how many visitors have my Confluence pages, which are the most visited and which the least, in order to get the most out of the tool.
How can I start recording the accesses in confluence and then carry out this analysis
Thanks in advance
Hi Joshua,
Thanks for your quick response
I had read something that there is something that allows Confluence actions to be recorded so that they can then be analyzed from Google Analytics
Are you aware of this that I am consulting you?
Thanks in advance
Sylvana
@Sylvana Rodriguez take a look at Google Analytics in Confluence - it gives both detailed reporting within Confluence and further deep analysis in the Google Analytics interface.

Hi Sylvana,
Yes. As I stated before, there are plugins on the Atlassian Marketplace that will likely meet your needs. Check out these plugins. Cheers!

You tell me that these plug ins already enable analysis without changing any settings?
I consult you because I am currently evaluating the trial version of view-tracker but the analysis is Global and I cannot see, for example, people entering certain pages. Just show Top Contents and Top Viewers.
I was reading that there is a parameter that allows you to start recording all visits to Confluence pages in order to analyze the use of it with Google Analytics.
Could you tell me how to set that parameter to start recording ???

Hi Sylvana,
No. I am telling you that they say they connect Confluence to Google Analytics and it is up to you to determine if their capabilities meet your needs. I do not have enough experience with Google Analytics or those specific plugins to tell you what they can or cannot do.
It is up to you to review plugin documentation (here is the Viewtracker documentation) or contect the vendor (here is the viewtracker contact portal) to find the answer to your question. Cheers!
