How do I add a team calendar to a global space?

The only place I can currently see calendars is a tiny link on my dashboard. What are my other options for raising the visibility of team calendars?

have you tried to display a calendar an a page via the calendar macro?

Including Calendars on a Confluence Page

While editing a page, click 'Insert' > 'Macro' > 'Team Calendars'.
