Hi,
Previously we had opportunity to use the legacy editor and found inserting a link to the image really helpful when using our collaborator's Confluence cloud. We are moving towards our own Confluence cloud, and currently we're in the process of working out the details, and the design of our pages. Found that the image link option is no longer available for the new Confluence. Is there any option to create a links using image instead of text to other pages in the same site?
Thanks!
Hello Cindy,
Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you.
As I understand, you want to link an image to a URL. Is that right?
If so, there's a feature request for this below:

Hi Shannon, thanks! Yes, that's what I'm asking for. It's a feature that should have stayed when Confluence editor was updated. Hope it'll return soon!
