Good day,

We have been using confluence for a long while using the domain [].atlassian.net - we are interested in adding Jira into our existing domain within Atlassian with the exact same group of users, but despite searching I do not see that option without creating an additional domain, which isn't a solution for us. Is it possible to enable Jira on our current domain?

Yes, if you log into the domain admin settings with an account that has the right to add one.
