How to get the Microsoft Word Macro to work in the cloud?

I have created a blank page, given it a title and then attached a .docx file to the page

when I open the 'Insert Office Word' Macro It does nothing. I see my page but I don't ever see the docx in the file drop down.

So I change the .docx to a .doc and try again.

its really frustrating.

The Office macro is deprecated for Confluence Cloud. The View File macros are still available in your Confluence site, but we recommend inserting Office and PDF files as a thumbnail or link, and using the preview to view the file in full, as it provides a much better way to display Office and PDF files on your pages.
