I recently got a question to handle floor plans and schematics in our Jira environment.
I know we can of course attach documents and images in Confluence but I'm looking for something (a lot) more advanced.
Our Facilities department tends to work with multi layer Pdf files or CAD drawing for certain floorplans/technical schematics.
Is anybody aware of a plugin that can handle these in Confluence with (full) support for the interactive functions that such a drawing provide?
We tried draw.io in the past but that was too limited.
Hey @Dirk Ronsmans,
my first idea before finishing reading your post was something like draw.io or maybe Gliffy... 🤔 But if that was too limited in its features, I don't think that there's an existing solution. Even a short research didn't bring up any useful solution. What software do you use for CAD drawings and is there some integration between services available through the vendor? Best, Max
I agree! I don't think either app is great for super-detailed, technical floor plans. Adding a CAD image does seem like a better way to work with that level of detail. :)
