How to hide all spaces from non-admins

Zsolt Szilagyi November 25, 2014

Hello,

we created a user for one of our customers. Obviously, they should not be able to see the other spaces, as the names give away our customer list. We managed to restrict their access to this single space, but how to hide the list? I picked up the info that I shall restrict the "browse" right, but I can´t find it. And try googling for "browse"...

Thanks!

You should edit your default space permissions on <domain>/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action.

You can also go each of your spaces permission section <domain>/spaces/spacepermissions.action?key=XXX and make sure only relevant groups are found under Groups.

"Browse" is a JIRA term, as far as I know. Not a Confluence term.

Great. There was a leftover from a default permission I have forgotten. Your link solved the problem, thank you!
