Is there a workaround to get includes on the same line without linefeed or linebreak between these includes ?

Hi @Luvy ,

Unfortunately, Confluence includes (like Include Page or Excerpt Include) are block-level elements — which means they always render on separate lines with a line break before and after. There’s no built-in way to place multiple includes inline on the same line.

That said, a few workarounds people sometimes try:

  • Use Excerpt Include inside a table, and set the table to have no borders and no spacing. That way, you can “simulate” inline placement using table cells.

  • Use a user macro (if you’re on Confluence Server or DC) to render the includes inline, but this isn’t available on Cloud.

  • Or copy the content manually from those pages if the content is short and doesn’t need to be dynamic.

Would love to see this improved! Inline includes could open up a lot of formatting flexibility.
