Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×From the department of things the new editor broke: In the past I was able to specify the size I wanted an image to be.
When the new editor first rolled out I could drag the handles at the size of an image to change the size. Now when I try that, the image automatically snaps back to either being too small, or way too large. I can't drag the handles to get the size I actually need, and we can't specify the size manually anymore.
This, on top of not being able to manipulate images at all in tables in the new editor, is causing major headaches.
Any manual workarounds for this one?
Hi @Brooke
I tried it for myself. In my cloud instance, I could resize the image by dragging on one side of the picture. So this looks like the printscreen, where a line is drawn next to the picture.
Is this different for you? Do you have another behaviour?
Regards, Dominic
@Dominic Lagger I have those lines, but I can't control the sizing as much as I thought. When I drag the lines to the size I want the photo to be, the image either snaps to a much larger size, or a smaller size, but I can't get it to stay the size I selected by dragging.

I am having this same issue; has anyone found a workaround? It's so frustrating - the old image editor was so powerful, and to have now lost such great editing capabilities...
