How to turn off Improve Writing and Ask AI

I went to Settings -> AI Enabled Apps and removed Confluence, Jira and Jira Product Discovery so there are no Apps enabled for AI.

Even though I did this, I still see the Improve Writing and Ask AI in Confluence. Since I have AI disabled I would expect these to be disabled as well. We don't want users attempting to try AI until we have time to vet AI capabilities ourselves.

  1. How do I get these disabled?
  2. AI features should also include user level permissions. There are only certain user groups that we want to enable AI for so we can test it out before allowing all users to have access. Enabling AI only at the Atlassian App level is too broad.
    1. Is it on the roadmap to enable/disable AI at the user level?

Hi @Corey Hampton

As mentioned by @Corey Hampton , I checked as well and can't find other options.

Best is to raise this to Atlassian Support

Hi @Corey Hampton ,

That's the only spot I see as well which on the org admin level. There's nothing as I can tell from the lower level like space settings.
