How to update the page in confluence using API?

Hello,

I tried to append the text from jenkins to confluence using API.

Now i need to publish the HTML file details to confluence page through Jenkins Job.

could anyone advise how to pass the text file as input in PUT method.

I don't want to upload the file in the form of attachment in confluence page
