×Hi all,
I have a space FOO in which I have a page Foo. On that page Foo, I'd like to display a list of child pages from space BAR that are under page Baz.
The help page for the Display Children macro says that the syntax should be spacekey:pagename, so BAR:Baz.
However, I can't seem to get this to work; the dropdown list (in the macro's settings) for the pages shows no matching result when I do that. (It does list unrelated pages from unrelated spaces, as well as pages with the right name from different spaces, and pages from space FOO).
What am I doing wrong?
I am having this issue also - I want to ref a page named "Design Documents", and we have pages with that name in several spaces. The one I want is in the same space, and the page has existed for a long time, but the macro won't show the page in the current space and it won't work when I specify the space key.
??
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Do you have the rights to see the page BAR:Baz? That's the usual culprit of not being offered it in a macro's option list.
The other one is that Confluence doesn't always index pages instantly. How long has BAR:Baz existed? If you have only just created it to use in the children macro, then give it a minute - make a cup of tea and try again.
