Insert JIRA Issue/Filter in Confluence can't find my issue

I can paste a link to a Jira issue and my Confluence has an application link to my Jira, but when I enter an issue nothing is found.

The Confluence Jira macro search does not work like the JIRA search box. You can't just enter the issue number '44331' to search for issue 'MYPROJECT-44331'. You must search for the entire string 'MYPROJECT-44331'.
